Another view of bone point

A bone point, more native cultures used bone to make arrow points, dart points, knife blades especially if they couldn't get any chert or flint. They would bust up the long bones and using sand stone or such file the bone into the desired point. Heating the bone also hardened and allowed the sharp edge to remain sharp. Many of these techniques I am sure came about buy trial and error but they did work because we are here today.
